This week’s FEATURED TOUR
Brought to you courtesy of Trish Tutton; Speaker & Mindfulness Teacher
Join Trish on this one day retreat in the heart of Bragg Creek.
Through gentle and yin yoga, meditation, mindful practices, journalling and poetry, you'll pause from the chaos of life to practice peacefulness in community.
As we start a new decade it's never been more important to learn how to cut out the noise and distraction of the mundane day to day tasks that clamour for your attention. This February 2nd, Trish will be leading a small group of like minded souls through guided meditation, journalling and gentle yoga, fuelled by a healthy vegetarian lunch, and helping you with tools and practises to maintain mindfulness as you prepare to tackle this new chapter.
Picture the scene: a fresh, pristine blanket of snow muffles the persistent noise of the day. A few notes of birdsong drift through the crisp winter air, making their way into the quiet of the yoga studio and subtly enhance your subconscious. You are completely unaware that this has happened due to your new found ability to focus, to concentrate on breath and breathing and allow all other distractions to make an entrance, and then pass right on by.
Does this sound like something you need in your life right now?
Then please, read on.
"Trish has such a calming presence and shares her wisdom with humour, grace and compassion. She really enjoys what she does and it shows. Whether it is a yoga class or a mindfulness conversation, Trish lives into her practice, speaks from experience and doesn't hide her own challenges. I always leave with a new perspective or idea to try. Some of the most helpful lessons I've learned have come from spending time with Trish. One of the best around, and one of my favourites!"
- Katie Smith, Program Coordinator, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity
"I have had the pleasure of working with Trish through both personal and work-related yoga and mindfulness workshops. Trish's passion and enthusiasm for what she does really shines through in her practices. This creates an extremely engaging, positive and comfortable environment for all. I highly recommend working with Trish if you are looking to enhance your outlook towards work, or are looking to find some balance in your daily life."
- Julia Kittner, Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
What you need to bring:
A yoga mat, and a soul ready to be quietened.
Please ensure you leave as much of your day to day distractions at the door as you can. It's impossible to come in ready - quietened: that's why you're here! But the more you can leave outside the more open you will be to receiving and using the tools explored in this retreat.
A vegetarian lunch will be provided.
This workshop is running for $120.00 per person
