This week’s FEATURED TOUR
Brought to you courtesy of Basecamp Adventure Therapy!
Basecamp Adventure Therapy takes what we all know about the mental health benefits of being outside (read: it's good for you) and combines it with years of professional counselling experience. The result? Ecotherapy; the ultimate way to kick start your journey to mental wellbeing. If you're feeling like traditional counselling methods may not be for you, and the idea of combining your mental exercise with some physical exertion could be just what you're looking for, then you're looking in the right place!
For this week's feature tour we are going to focus on one of Basecamp Adventure Therapy's offerings: SUP, girl!
It's a 2 hour counselling session... held on Stand Up Paddle Boards (now that's our kind of board meeting!)
The sessions will be running throughout the summer, and will all take place in Canmore.
What's included?
- Stand Up Paddle Board Rental
- 2 hours of counselling with Shallon.
With your counsellor, you will create an initial plan during the first intake session.
Please note that you do not have to be an athlete to participate in Adventure Therapy. Your counsellor will work alongside you to create a counselling session that is perfect for you and your comfort level.
Equipment can be provided, or you may bring your own, all they ask is that you open your mind to a new experience of holistic healing, and maybe have some fun or learn a new activity as a bonus!
