Hiking for fun…and wellness
Knock off the cobwebs of winter and get outside. Explore the amazing views of Banff National Park over 5 weeks while learning how to modify your step to save energy, manage those niggling aches and pains, and stay injury free. Enjoy the spectacular views while you eat your delicious lunch that is provided and keep limber by finishing each hike with a physiotherapist-led stretching program. This is the perfect series for anyone planning a backpacking trip this summer or for anyone wanting to improve their health. We will start with a 7-10km hike, with up to 300m of elevation gain. By the end of the program we will be ready to tackle 13-15km, with up to 600m elevation.

Dates & Price
- Each week we will meet at Elevation Place in Canmore, AB at 8:30am (Carpooling can be arranged from Calgary if needed). Depending on the groups fitness level a new hike will be chosen. The goal is to show you new areas so that you can go out and explore on your own!
We will start off with a beginner to intermediate hike at 7-10km, with up to 300m of elevation gain. By the end of the program we will be ready to tackle and advanced hike at 13-15km, with up to 600m elevation. The main requirement is to HAVE FUN!!! The hikes are geared towards the whole group, with a leave no one behind mentality.
The wide open spaces found in wild places have always left Jenna feeling full of energy. From a young age she appreciated the feeling of moving her body and the satisfaction that came from self propelled activities. Always in search of an adventure she can be found anywhere but indoors!
Currently, she resides in Canmore, AB, balancing guiding and working as a physiotherapist. Hiking and backpacking fill her summer months and snowshoeing takes over in the winter. The majority of her work consists of private guiding, however hiking and backpacking trips are also provided to help you prepare to tackle the trail on your own.
