A Summer of Mindful Hiking

Craving increased mindfulness and connection in your life? Escape the businesses and stress of an over-scheduled world and find meaningful connection in nature. Be guided beyond the crowds of Banff National Park and be surrounded by a forest wonderland.

Join us with Modern + Mindful for a full day of hiking where we pause to engage all five of our senses. We will meet as a group in Canmore at the downtown location for JK Bakery for 8:45am. With green practices in mind, we will carpool to the trailhead and experience moments of hiking silently, eating mindfully, and guided meditations. Expect to be outside until 4 pm as we take our time to enjoy our surroundings. The first two hikes are easy to moderate in difficulty and the final hike is moderate. Our focus is on reconnecting, not the physical push.

Aug 12 - This is a beginner to moderate hike up to West Wind Pass. Depending on the group we may continue on further to take in spectacular views of Spray Lakes - 7km, 350m elevation gain

Sept15 - This is a more challenging hike. Ranked as moderate, hiking up to Rummel Lake will require more fitness than the other two hikes. It is the perfect way to end the hiking season! - 9km, 500m elevation gain
