Backcountry Camping

All sites for Banff, Lake Louise, Yoho and Kootenay National Parks will be available to book as of 8am MST on 23rd January 2020.

These sell out FAST so make sure you have a few dates in mind when you are going to book, so as not to be disappointed.

Bookings can be made on the Parks Canada website or by calling 1-877-737-3783.  Bear in mind that this reservation system is for all of Canada, so you will need to know which national park your campsite is in before booking.  Contact us if you need assistance with the booking system... we've been through it once or twice!

Lake O'Hara

These will be available to book as of January 24, 2020.

If you book a Lake O'Hara campsite then you get a space on the bus as a part of your booking.

If you want to book the bus only, this is on a lottery based system for 2020.  Applications can be made on the Parks Canada website from February 1 - 29, 2020 for busses this summer.

Lake Louise & Moraine Lake Shuttle

New for 2020 Parks Canada are rolling out a pre-bookable shuttle service for Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.  These busses will NOT be available on a walk up basis and MUST be booked in advance.

The Roam bus will still be available to get to and from the region, or we highly recommend Hop On Banff for an amazing way to get to see all the highlights of Banff and Lake Louise.
